Sniper Apologizes to Victim's Daughter

Cheryll Witz was shopping for a birthday cake at Costco in Tuscon, Ariz. when she received a call on her cell phone from Lee Boyd Malvo, the man serving a life sentence for killing her father in a murder spree five years ago, reports the Associated Press.

"I need to apologize for what I've done to you and your family," Malvo told her during the call, which took place on Sept. 20.

In March 2002, the then 17-year-old Malvo shot and killed Witz's father, Jerry Taylor, as he practiced chip shots on a golf-course practice green.

Witz said Malvo broke down at times during the conversation.

"The first thing he said was, 'I tried to write a letter to you but I couldn't. I didn't know what to say,"' Witz told AP.

In the past, Witz has attempted to learn more details about her father's death, and even wrote to Malvo in prison urging him to divulge what he knew. For personal reasons, she was unwilling to discuss all the details of the call, particularly those surrounding the exact circumstances of her father's shooting.

Taylor's murder preceded the killing spree that terrorized the Washington, D.C., area, in which the teenage Malvo and partner John Allen Muhammad killed 10 people and wounded three others over a three-week span that began Oct. 2, 2002.

"I was standing in the Costco bawling my eyes out," Witz said of the phone call, which was placed to her through a third party. Malvo had initially called a producer at ABC News, who then used three-way calling to connect Malvo to Witz after she agreed to take the call.

According to Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor, such three-way calling violates rules of the prison. He would not comment on Malvo's specific phone calls or whether he has called any other victims. A network spokesperson said the producer was unaware that three-way calls were prohibited, and would not have connected the two had she known of the rule.

Witz's feelings toward Malvo remain conflicted. She is still angry but said it was important to her to hear his apology directly. She hopes Malvo will follow through on a promise he made during the call to write to her.

"I told him that I was glad he didn't get the death penalty. I told him, 'You need to think about what you've done,"' Witz said. "He said, 'The Lee then and Lee now are two different people.'" (source)

Nigerian Scammers Extradiated to U.S.

I get tons of e-mails every day telling me that somehow I have been selected to receive millions of dollars. Some of them say that they were sent to me by God while others say they inherited money and need me to get it out of the country for them. Whatever the reason, I immediately know it is a crock of bull. But hundreds of thousands of people fall for this scam. They are sent checks that they cash into their own bank accounts, and then send a portion back to the sender. Days later the check bounces leaving the recipient stuck holding the bag! Well, it looks like the government and the postal service have cracked down with "Operation Dutch," and some of the perpetrators have been arrested! Finally...Read on:

The e-mails arrive out of the blue, from Nigeria or other exotic countries. They tell of inheritances, political problems, other reasons someone needs to get money out of the country. If you help, they promise to let you share the money.

Unfortunately, thousands of people fall for the scam, losing an average of $3,000 to $4,000 each.

So far this year, an average of more than 800 people a month have filed complaints about such scams.

Hoping to stem the losses, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service announced an international crackdown Wednesday in which more than 540,000 fake checks with a face value of $2.1 billion have been seized.

There have been 60 arrests in the Netherlands, 16 in Nigeria and one in Canada, the Postal Inspection Service said, and the effort is continuing.

"There is no room in the mail for any of these phony come-ons," Postmaster General John Potter said.

Most of the cons start with e-mails telling of an inheritance or lottery win and ask the victim to help bring the money to the United States. The victim is asked to cash a check that comes in the mail and to send part of the money back to the person sending it, said Greg Campbell, inspector in charge of global security and investigations for the Postal Inspection Service.

Then that person disappears with the money and the original check bounces, leaving the victim with a loss.

Retired people have lost their nest eggs and young families have been defrauded of their savings for a home, Potter said.

Many of the cases originate in the Netherlands, where West African con artists operate from Internet cafes, said Johan Van Hartskamp, commissioner of the Amsterdam police.

In what he called "Operation Dutch Treat," police have arrested 60 people there, with three extradited to the United States and four more facing extradition. The rest are being prosecuted in the Netherlands, he said.

Ibrahim Lamorde, director of the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, said the problem is monumental and "will only be surmounted through global efforts."

U.S. Assistant Attorney General Alice Fisher said: "There is no lottery. There is no inheritance. The checks are not real. But there are real victims. The crime knows no borders, and our coordinated law enforcement knows no borders." (source)

Ne-Yo Gives Britney's Songs To Nicole Scherzinger

Ne-Yo wrote a number of tracks for the long-gestating Britney Spears comeback album, but when her head-shaving episode and subsequent rehab stalled the recording process, the singer-songwriter took his tracks and shopped them elsewhere.

"I have no idea what's going on with Britney Spears right now," Ne-Yo told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Wednesday.

Ne-Yo explained that he wrote six to eight songs for the project "before she shaved her head and went into rehab again."

"When that happened, I lost all contact with her A&R people, with her label," he said, adding Camp Spears was no longer returning his calls. I was like, I guess they weren't interested no more."

Enter Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger.

The pop vixen loved two of the tracks "Happily Never After" and "Save Me From Myself" and quickly spent money to secure them for her upcoming album, Her Name Is Nicole, due Nov. 6 from Interscope. After that transaction, Ne-Yo claims Spears' folks suddenly renewed their interest in the tracks.

Geffen Records platinum-selling R&B star Keyshia Cole becomes the first female in the history of the 14-year-old Nielsen BDS-based Urban chart to land three consecutive #1s as a lead artist as her hit single "Let It Go" climbs 3-1.

"Let It Go," which features Missy Elliott & Lil Kim, follows "I Should Have Cheated," which topped the list in December 2005, and "Love," from April 2006.

R. Kelly Schedules Tour During Trial

(AXcess News) New York - Rap star R. Kelly is planning a fall tour in October, though his chid pornography trial is set to begin September 17th. Touring with Kelly will be R&B singer Keyshia Cole, who told MTV in an interview about Kelly's plans to join Cole this Fall.

For the past five years, when Kelly wanted to tour outside the Chicago jurisdiction, he had to ask the court for permission. So far, Kelly has not asked the Courts for permission to tour this fall and he must submit, in writing, at least 30 days in advance for consent, which in the past has not always been granted to Kelly.

By the fact that Kelly is not asking the Court for permission to tour this Fall, his legal team must have confidence in the performer being acquitted at trial.

At a hearing in Chicago on August 1, Judge Vincent Gaughan said Kelly's trial will begin on September 17. (more)

Michael Vick's father said he pushed his son to quit dogfighting years ago or, at least, put property used for the fights in the name of friends to avoid being implicated some day.

Michael Boddie, in two sometimes tearful interviews with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week, said some time around 2001 his son staged dogfights in the garage of the family's home in Newport News, Va. Boddie also said Vick kept fighting dogs in the family's backyard, including injured ones — "bit up, chewed up, exhausted" — that the father nursed back to health.

Boddie, who is estranged from his son, dismissed the idea that Vick's longtime friends were the main instigators of the dogfighting operation.

"I wish people would stop sugarcoating it," Boddie said. "This is Mike's thing. And he knows it."

He "likes it, and he has the capital to have a set up like that."

Daniel Meachum, an attorney for Vick, said his client never mentioned situations described by Boddie, nor discussed Boddie in relation to dog activities. "It's a disgrace Mr. Boddie, who chose for nearly 22 years not to be part of Mike's life, would at this time seek to capitalize on his son's current situation." (more)

Rihanna says mentor Jay-Z is teaching her how to cope with fame.

The singer, who has been catapulted to superstardom after the phenomenal success of her worldwide hit 'Umbrella', has no intention of becoming a diva, and is being schooled on the pitfalls of celebrity by the hip-hop mogul.

Speaking at the MOBO Awards nominations party at London club Movida last night, she said: "He's just told me to keep good people around me, stay humble, keep grounded and don't get carried away by everything around me."

Rihanna - who was nominated for two awards, Best Video, for 'Umbrella', and Best International Act - also quashed speculation she and Jay-Z's lover Beyoncé Knowles are feuding.

The 19-year-old singer insists the pair get on fine, despite constant reports claiming Beyoncé is jealous of Rihanna's success and the amount of time she spent working on her latest album, 'Good Girl Gone Bad', with the rapper.

Rihanna - who was signed by Jay-Z to Def Jam Records - said: "Beyoncé is not the enemy. She is the competition but we get on fine. We're great." (source)

On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today.

I guess one of these idiots will have to kill someone before the courts start cracking down!

50, Kanye, Jay-Z, T.I., Diddy, Swizz Beats Share The Stage

KILLEDTHAT.COM EXCLUSIVE: This year's ScreamFest show started off like every other: heartthrobs Lloyd, T-Pain, and Young Joc performed their most recent hits, hyping the crowd up for performances by headliners Ciara and T.I. Here’s when it got interesting: Ciara–surprise, surprise–brought 50 Cent out to perform her new single, "Can't Leave Him Alone". The crowd went insane. Then 50 pulled the unexpected: he brought the majority of the G-Unit Fam out on stage, including Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Mobb Deep. They all performed 50’s street smash "I Get Money".

At that point, the crowd was bugging out with excitement. G-Unit members then left the stage, but 50 stayed on. Then T.I. comes back to perform a new song off his album, "Watch What You Say To Me". The track features Jay-Z, and you guessed it–the Jigga man came out to spit his verse. Jay looked at 50 and proclaimed, "No worries. It’s all good." They shook hands.

Then the completely unexpected happened. Kanye West ran on stage and the DJ played "Can’t Tell Me Nothing". The energy was INSANE. Even 50, who has been in the news for the past few weeks calling out Kanye and several other hip-hop heads, found himself bumping his head to the joint. During the song, Diddy and Swizz Beatz both came out on stage to perform with 'Ye.

Diddy put his arms around 'Ye and 50 as Swizz Beatz performed "Money In The Bank". And when you thought it couldn't get any crazier, 50 Cent then threw up the ROC sign. WHAT?!!!!! We all know about the Kanye and 50 beefing. Could this be 50’s way of surrendering to 'Ye after making his ridiculous promise. (source)

1. Apparently, 50 said "I run New York" when they were all leaving the stage....um, no you don't. Jay does.

2. I am all for healthy competition and this historical moment in hip-hop, but this definitely fit 50's agenda. First, he performed with Ciara. Then he brought out G-Unit to perform 'I Get Money.' Finally, he stays on stage while all the other hip-hop greats perform. Why? So no one would outshine him! What better
way to promote yourself than Madison Square Gardens?

Bonus: I received a few emails asking me why I do not like 50. To answer you guys, I do like 50!!! I rocked his first album so hard that it broke and I had to buy a new one! I just don't like when artists treat their fans like idiots. The publicity stunts are old and transparent (i.e. 50, Usher). Also, I don't feel this new album! If he came out with an album that I thought was hot, I would cop it! I hope that answers your questions.

Okay, I think just about everyone was on Mel's side when Eddie Murphy pretty much kicked her to the curb on television, but she is starting to irk me!

Second, she is pimping her baby to the media every chance she gets! What some people won't do for fame!

She told Hello! Magazine, "They're trying to make him out to be this aggressive, violent, woman batterer and he's not."

"If you read those police reports, they never say he physically beat up a woman. He hasn't been the best of people. I know everything that he's done. He went through group therapy and counselling, but he's fully aware of what he's done."

People love Beyoncé, but look at how long she’s been around! I think that she’s dope, though. But I’m about the future of the business and her [Ciara] and Chris Brown are just that. They’re going to be the best things out in a lil’ bit. But as far as what people think between me and her, man… [laughs], the video did that.

In an attempt to garner media attention for his horendous new album, 50 makes a ridiculous comparison of Ciara and Beyonce. Ummm, where do we start. First, Ciara is the best female dancer I have seen in a LONG time, BUT she cannot sing!!! How can you even say her name in the same sentence as Beyonce! Beyonce is a complete performer. She has unparalleled vocal abilites, she dances and has a commanding stage presence. She is an innovator! If Ciara is the "future" of R&B music than we have some reevaluating to do regarding the state of music.

Al Sharpton Reponds To David Banner

Okay, I hate the way people assume that Al Sharpton's views are the views of the entire African-American community, but I would never express my feelings about it the way an obviously pissed David Banner chose to. His ignorant statement just proved Sharpton's point.

Banner's views on Sharpton as reported to sohh.com:

"The next time you see Al Sharpton, tell him I said f*ck him and he can suck my di*k," Banner told the Web site. "I might change the name of my album from ‘The Greatest Story Never Told’ to ‘F*ck Al Sharpton.’"

"I hate Al Sharpton. This is the kind of sh*t that I'm talking about. They're killing kids in New Jersey and all across the country and all a ni**a got to talk about is rap lyrics? F*ck that about they're our elders and we gotta respect them. I'm tired of this. They're like the parents, but the parents are crucifying the kids.

They tried to crucify Nelly and Akon ... we need to come together because they're only doing this because we're not saying anything. Sharpton is a permed-out pimp. Sharpton's representative, Kirsten John-Foy, released this statement addressing Banner by his real name, Levell Crump (yeah, I think I would change my name too):

"From time to time we do encounter people that have sexual fantasies about Reverend Al Sharpton, but they are always women and Crump’s proposition is a first,” says Foy. “However, in keeping with the National Action Network’s Decency Initiative, I am sure Rev. Rock Harper Wins 'Hell's Kitchen' Finale

I think I watched one episode of 'Hell's Kitchen', but Rock Harper definitely stood out! I got an email wondering why I didn't post anything about his win. The honest truth is that I didn't keep up with the show, but congrats Rock!

Harper on his final dining concept:

“I think that from top to bottom my concept was in tune,” said Rock during an interview after the show. “My concept was all about the customer, everything worked from things as small as the font on the menu, to the bread basket, to even the purse rests I had for the ladies. Dining is probably 80 percent about the food or 90 percent about the food but the other 10 or 20 percent is about the little things that you might not notice but really make you feel great.”

Harper on his new poition as head chef of the Green Valley Resort and Spa in Las Vegas:

“This is huge,” says Rock, who admits to being more nervous about the sudden onslaught of media attention surrounding the new gig than the gig itself.

“I've heard the rumors about the PR that you have to do and how everybody knows you in the town and your life changes,” said the husband and father of two. “I think that's more nerve-wracking than when I get in the kitchen. This story is proof that people are smoking crack in our prison systems:

The man alleges that Vick stole two white mixed pit bull dogs from his home in Holiday, Fla., and used them for dogfighting operations in Richmond, Va. The complaint goes on to allege that Vick sold the dogs on eBay and “used the proceeds to purchase missiles from the Iran government.”

The complaint also alleges that Vick would need those missiles because he pledged allegiance to Al Quaeda in February of this year.

“Michael Vick has to stop physically hurting my feelings and dashing my hopes,” Riches writes in the complaint.

Riches wants $63 billion dollars “backed by gold and silver “ delivered to the front gates to the Williamsburg Federal Correctional facility in South Carolina. Riches is an inmate at the facility serving out a wire fraud conviction. (more)

Ugh! Another talented, young, black man throws his career away behind some foolishness! Why in the world was MILLIONAIRE Mike Vick involved in a dog fighting ring? It seems to me that he wanted to stay connected with his friends from the hood (you know the ones that are testifying AGAINST him) so he decided to be "down" and fund a dog fighting ring! Idiot! When it all falls down, people always scramble to save themselves. Here is the latest:

Faced with the likelihood that a new federal indictment will charge Falcons quarterback Michael Vick with more serious dogfighting offenses, his attorneys Tuesday were seeking a plea deal that limits his prison time and saves his NFL career, according to people with knowledge of the negotiations.

Early next week a federal grand jury in Richmond, Va., will begin hearing new allegations against Vick. This means Vick has until the end of the week to reach a deal or face more serious charges.

Vick's legal team not only must negotiate with the U.S. Attorney's Office, but with the NFL as well. If Vick cannot secure a deal that saves his NFL career, he could decide to go to trial, risking a lengthy prison sentence if he is convicted.

Atlanta lawyer Dan Meachum, a member of Vick's defense team, declined to comment Tuesday on any possible negotiations.

"I stand by Michael Vick," Meachum said. "He's a good kid in a bad situation. I'm a dog owner, a dog lover. I would not be involved in this case if I didn't believe in him."

The plea negotiations follow news that two more of Vick's three co-defendants are scheduled to enter guilty pleas later this week as part of a deal with prosecutors. (more)

Jawn Murray is reporting he received a tip that L.A. Reid is Usher's new manager! If this is true, it could explain A LOT! Check out what Jawn had to say:

Usher Raymond IV: So I have it on good authority that the 28-year-old R&B star is now being managed by Antonio "L.A." Reid, chairman of The Island Def Jam Music Group. That would answer one major question that folks in Usher's camp had all along: 'Why wasn't L.A. Reid the voice of reason when Usher decided to marry Tameka Foster."

Now that Reid is apparently representing Usher, whom he has known since signing him to LaFace Records when he was 13-years-old, it makes sense because he has vested interest in the star now and didn't want to be fired like Usher's mom/manager Jonetta Patton. When Patton refused to accept Usher's relationship with former stylist Foster, the singer retaliated by canning her days before Mother's Day. Reid on the other hand, opened up his backyard in The Hamptons for that ill-fated initial ceremony.

In addition to Reid, I'm told that Usher has also brought on über -talent manager Benny Medina (Tyra Banks, Mariah Carey) and NoonTime's Chris Hicks (who is the cousin of Foster's ex-husband Ryan Glover) as consultants. A rep for Usher denied that Reid is the singer's new manager. "This is totally false," said Usher's rep Patti Webster.

In addition, did you notice how initially all of Usher's exclusives (engagement announcement, pregnancy announcement and wedding information) were given to People magazine? I'm told that the reason Us Weekly is now getting all of the exclusive updates from the modern day Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is because People magazine began researching the information being sent over by Usher's camp and realized it wasn't checking out. "Once People discovered that Foster had never checked into St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York and that wasn't the reason the wedding was called off, they questioned Usher's camp on it. Instead of responding, team Usher began offering their exclusives to Us Weekly," said a source close the situation. (source)

Diddy Named Executive Producer Of B.I.G. Movie

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the man who discovered Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. and signed him to a record deal in 1992, has come aboard as an executive producer on Fox Searchlight’s biopic about the late hip hop star.

George Tillman Jr. has been hired to direct the project, based on a script by hip-hop journalist Cheo Hodari Coker and filmmaker Reggie Rock Bythewood.

Coker penned the biography "Unbelievable: The Life, Death and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G." Tillman’s directing credits include "Men of Honor" and "Soul Food."

"We know he will make a brilliant movie and show the true humanity of Christopher Wallace's character," said Fox Searchlight President of Production Claudia Lewis, mentioning B.I.G.’s real name.

As previously reported, the studio picked up film rights in 1995. A nationwide casting call was launched Sunday encouraging anyone who resembles the late rapper to send in an audition tape, whether or not they have professional acting experience. The film will focus more on Wallace’s private life than his public persona.

Ugh! Magic Johnson is hosting a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton! I will not give my opinions on this. All I will say is: Team Obama!

Earvin “Magic” Johnson will hold a fundraiser for New York Sen. Hillary Clinton on Sept. 14 to support her presidential campaign, Clinton’s camp announced Sunday.

The shindig will be co-hosted by veteran musician/producer Quincy Jones and Motown founder Berry Gordy, who went public with their support for Clinton's campaign in April.

In a statement, Johnson said Clinton "has the experience and knowledge to help lead our country."

Magic’s news comes about a month after Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's campaign said Oprah Winfrey will host a Sept. 8 fundraiser on his behalf at her estate outside of Santa Barbara.

The two events underscore the competition among Democratic candidates for African American support in the party's 2008 presidential primary. (source)

In a recent interview, Babyface weighed in on his former wife, Tracy Edmonds, relationship with Eddie Murphy and his status as a "B-list" celebrity. I have never thought of Babyface as a B-list celeb! I have always thought of him as extremely underrated and talented!

"It's not like I feel like a star or have ever really felt like that. A celebrity? Yeah, it gets me in restaurants and I can (go to the head of the line) at Disneyland. I like that part. But for me, I feel for Tracey and Eddie because of what they gotta go through. Everybody's on them and now (that they're engaged) they're going to be on them even more. And I wouldn't want that. That's like a little too much for me with people all in your business with their opinions of you and what your life choices are. I am kinda happy being a b-list star. That's OK to me. I like being a musician and a writer. I'm OK with that. I don't need to be the hottest guy or being looked at as anything other than with respect. I feel blessed to be in the space that I'm in. Even with what me and Tracey went through as far as being separated and being divorced because it was, more or less, respectful to me. It was so refreshing to read an article about an intelligent woman with character and her approach to success in a relationship. The Comedy Central Flavor Flav Roast went down last night. I thought that I would never see anything tackier than 'Flavor of Love', but I guess I was wrong! Between all the jokes about his dark skin and the references to his children (that were in the audience), it made for a pretty tasteless show. The mix of comedians was odd. There was Katt Williams, Carrot Top, Sommore, Jimmy Kimmel, Ice-T, Jeffrey Ross and Snoop. The Flavor of Love girls were there. They stood up every chance they got to flip off whoever was clowning them at the moment. I added some clips from some of the tamer moments in the show.

(From The Associated Press) - The girl we knew from Destiny’s Child has definitely changed. Once a self-proclaimed “team player,” Kelly Rowland is finally getting the hang of being on her own musically without Beyonce and Michelle [Williams] at her side.

After a year’s delay and a bit of retooling, Rowland kicked off her sophomore solo album, “Ms. Kelly,” which includes the single “Like This,” featuring Eve.

Next up, the 26-year-old R&B singer, who keeps her iTunes playlist cued up to the sounds of Sade, Robin Thicke and, yes, a touch of T-Pain, is gearing up to serve the streets a little swagger with her second single, “Ghetto,” alongside Snoop Dogg.

Clearly, she’s not in Houston anymore.

AP: Now that Destiny’s Child is behind you and you’re on your second album, who is Kelly Rowland today?

Rowland: I’m comfortable in my skin and quite honestly, I feel older. (Laughs.) I rushed through my first album, “Simply Deep” (released in 2002), but with “Ms. Kelly,” I was able to take my time. I’m very proud of the first one, though. I sold almost 2 million albums, so I still dust my shoulder off for that one.

AP: So, let’s talk about the album’s first week’s sales.

Rowland: Yes, I came in at No. 6 and sold 86,000 records — in a declining market, might I add. I’m very proud of that. Not everybody’s selling records like they used to. Even the biggest artists don’t come out and go platinum in a week anymore. It’s a different day and age in the music industry.

Germany UNICEF Ads Show White Children In Blackface

The German writing says: "I'm waiting for my last day in school, the children in africa still for their first one."

This is an actual ad-campaign by UNICEF Germany!

This campaign is "blackfacing" white children with mud to pose as "uneducated africans".

The headline translates "This Ad-campaign developped pro bono by the agency Jung von Matt/Alster shows four german kids who appeal for solidarity with their contemporaries in Afrika"

Besides claiming that every single person in "Africa" isn't educated, and doing so in an extremely patronising way, it is also disturbing that this organisation thinks blackfacing kids with mud (!) equals "relating to african children". Also, the kids' statements ignore the existence of millions of african academics and regular people and one again reduces a whole continent to a village of muddy uneducated uncivilized people who need to be educated (probably by any random westerner). This a really sad regression.

Bottom lines of this campaign are: Black = mud = African = uneducated. White = educated. We feel this campaign might do just as much harm as it does any good. You don't collect money for helping people by humiliating and trivializing them first.

Unfortunately, if it was clear to the average German that this is wrong, UNICEF and the advertising agency wouldn't come out with such a campaign.

Kids at the Florida Youth Club were the recent recipients of a huge clothing donation from music mogul Jay-Z, whose own flair for dressing up has landed him in second place on Esquire’s new list of Best Dressed Men in the World.

NFL star Tom Brady tops the list, while Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama comes in fourth, and NBA stars Dwayne Wade and Tony Parker are ranked No. 14 and No. 23 respectively. (The full list is available at Esquire.com.)

Last month, Jay-Z sent more than $2,500 worth of designer street wear to the Spring Hill Campaign for Adolescent and University Student Empowerment (CAUSE) in appreciation of their community efforts.

With the help of two other students, CAUSE was founded by concerned citizen Matt Morton during his freshman year at Stetson University. His goal was to use the organization to raise funds for local causes.

So Michelle from DC3 is supposedly working on a R&B album this time around! It will be interesting to see how this turns out since Kelly's album hasn't done too well so far! To break things down, Diddy broke the guys into 2 groups and they performed the same song before New Edition performed. Then he had a 1-on-1 meeting with each guy. After that he gave them a "Bad Boy" make-over for a Sean Jean photo shoot. He made Robert and Brian H. cut off their hair!!! Robert has gorgeous curly hair and looked really nice. Brian H. was pissed to say the least! Also, Big Mike lost a ton of weight and DeAngelo had his braces taken off. Anyway, in the end Diddy announced that he is unable to choose the winners so he is letting the public vote! So I decided I will put together my group if I could make the band. Natalie Stewart was on Wendy Williams were she discussed Floetry, her weight loss, their "lesbian" relationship, and getting married.

First of all, Natalie was the thinner member of Floetry! When she said he loss 60 lbs, I started searching the web for pictures of her. She was thin to normal in all of them! I tell you these Hollywood standards are ridiculous!

She also addressed the lesbian rumors basically saying that she and Marsha were more like sisters and have known each other since they were 11. But she did say that she (Natalie) was bisexual on occasion.

Also, she said that Floetry was getting back together which sucks for Amanda Diva!

OK! Magazine is reporting that Beyonce is the new face for American Express! I am excited for her! I am sick of people saying she should "sit down"! She is the hottest female artist out right now. Who stops when they are on top and in their prime? How many of you would quit your job just as you reached that top position? Don't have that crabs-in-a-barrel syndrome! Support people that are doing big things!
